Brendan Fraser, a Hollywood actor, recently revealed how he starved himself to stay in shape for the 1997 hit film 'George of the Jungle.'
According to Fox News, an American news agency, he made the disclosure during an interview session with his 'Airheads' co-star and comedian Adam Sandler, which was hosted by Variety to discuss their careers' achievements.
Sandler inquired about Fraser's experience getting in shape for the comedy film based on the cartoon 'Tarzan' series. "There was no wardrobe... George wears a loincloth," Fraser explained to Sandler.
Sandler quipped that Fraser was in such good shape for the part that he made everyone else feel bad.
"You weren't meant to treat us like way. You did the character justice. But you cheated us, dude. You made us feel inferior to ourselves. Were you oiled up at all while watching 'George'?" According to Fox News, Sandler made a joke.
"I'd been waxed. Carbohydrate deficient. After work, I'd drive home and get something to eat. One day, I needed cash and went to the ATM, but I couldn't recall my PIN code since my brain was misfiring. I'm banging on it. That night, I didn't eat anything "Fraser responded.
Fraser received recognition for his acting in a number of high-production blockbuster movies between the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s.
He recently received praise for his performance in the critically acclaimed movie 'The Whale', which was produced by A24, as per Fox News.
